CARE & MAINTENANCE
Routine cleaning with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth is recommended. In commercial, marine, or high-exposure environments, monthly cleaning is advised. Always rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove detergent residue.
Avoid pressure washing, steam cleaning, abrasive tools, steel brushes or wool, and cleaners containing chlorine. Do not dry dust surfaces, as this may cause scratching. Strong or aggressive solvents—including turpentine, thinners, white spirits, citrus-based cleaners, and similar products—should never be used on powder-coated finishes.
Prevent the accumulation of debris, organic matter, or contaminants on product surfaces. Any mineral residue from soils or fertilisers should be removed promptly, particularly on planter products.
Rough handling or impact may cause surface damage to powder-coated furniture. Such cosmetic damage is not covered under warranty.
Many FEARON products are supplied with protective components such as glides, bumpers, or feet to help minimise wear. Furniture should always be positioned carefully to reduce the risk of surface damage.
When using furniture covers for extended periods, it is recommended to elevate the cover slightly—such as by placing a lightweight object at the centre of the table—to prevent prolonged contact with the surface.
POWDER COAT FINISH – WARRANTY INFORMATION
Powder coating is a decorative finish suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. While it provides an added level of surface protection, it is not a standalone corrosion barrier. FEARON products are primarily manufactured from aluminium, selected for its durability and resistance to corrosion in exterior environments.
Aluminium components are carefully prepared and powder coated to enhance long-term performance across a range of conditions.
While finishes are selected to suit their intended application, FEARON cannot warrant powder-coated surfaces against scratching, scuffing, chipping, fading, or cosmetic wear resulting from use, impact, or exposure to harsh, coastal, chlorinated, or extreme environments.
FEARON powder-coat colours offer strong UV stability; however, gradual fading over time is a natural process and is not covered under warranty. Adhering to the recommended care and maintenance guidelines will help extend the life of the finish.
The warranty excludes damage caused by debris, organic or man-made matter, mineral deposits, or environmental build-up on product surfaces, including planter products.
FEARON accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from the use of furniture covers.
